Dr. Lily Edwards-Callaway is an Associate Professor of Livestock Behavior and Welfare at Colorado State University. Originally from the Northeast, with a B.A. in from Amherst College, Dr. Edwards-Callaway had her first exposure to the agriculture industry, on a small scale, at the University of Rhode Island where she received a Master’s in Animal Science. Dr. Edwards-Callaway received her PhD with Dr. Temple Grandin at Colorado State University. Dr. Edwards-Callaway has had roles in academia (Kansas State University), the packing industry (JBS) and cattle production (Crystal River Meats) focusing on improving animal welfare in various industry sectors.
