Vice President of Operations, Progressive Beef
Heather Donley is the Vice President of Operations for Progressive Beef, a quality management system that delivers transparency and verification solutions to feedyards across the United States. She started her career managing and auditing programs such as Natural, GAP, Source & Age Verification, and NHTC. As feedyard needs have evolved over the past 20 years, Heather’s practical approach and visionary leadership guided Progressive Beef to evolve and meet the needs of its primary customers, cattle feeders, but also the needs of end users in the beef supply chain. Today, Progressive Beef is the industry-leading quality management system and is built on a strong foundation of independent, science-based, robust standards, full-stack auditing, and technology, all the while being rooted in production efficiency, people, and exceptional execution.
Heather graduated from Kansas State University with a master’s degree in ruminant nutrition. She currently serves on the Kansas Beef Council Executive Committee and lives on a cow-calf operation in Ellsworth, Kan., with her husband, Clint and their three children. In her free time, she is usually at her kids’ many activities, including 4H, wrestling, football, cheerleading, and volleyball.
