Dr. Dusty Abney
Cow/Calf Nutritionist, Cargill Animal Nutrition
Dr. Abney joined Cargill in 2006 as a cow/calf nutritionist. Dusty received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Animal Science with an emphasis on ruminant nutrition from Texas Tech University. In his role, he supports colleagues in the field with technical nutrition consultation in both the pasture and feedlot segments. He lives in Athens, TX with his wife Beverly, who was the original Dr. Abney, and their daughter Amelia.
